Hi, I’m Meredith - creative force behind Chic Chic Boom. I make unique and very lovely handcrafted bags, homewares and accessories.
Once upon a time, not that long ago there was a girl who had a penchant for vintage children’s books, a love of second hand stores and a background in waste minimisation. A creative husband and two kiddies later, I decided to combine my talents and dreams of crafting all day to banging sounds – and Chic Chic Boom was born. Here at Chic Chic Boom you will find handmade bags, jewellery and girlie bits and pieces. I always use gorgeous fabrics – often sourced from thrift stores, to be upcycled/refashioned/repurposed – and I love incorporating applique, buttons, beads and vintage finds in my designs.
