I have been in love with glass while I was travelling overseas and I have always been fascinated by the material of glass, including colour, transparency and movement while it is in the molten temperature.
I live in Waikuku, North Canterbury in New Zealand and create my own glass beads jewellery at my home studio. My characteristic of glass beads is about colour. My beads are influenced by a minimal quality of Japanese aesthetic as well as a bright and crisp New Zealand landscapes. I often include sand from Waikuku Beach where I live close by, to make my glass beads more personalised where they are made.
