Something to brighten up your day...

This is a little ( pansy sized) brooch made of felt with embroidered embellishments. It is attached to a 1" brooch pin so it can be fixed onto a jacket, a hat, a bag, an 'anything' really.

The friend of mine, who attacked my garden with a chain saw, gave me some pansies out of her garden to use as a template. I know pansies have five petals and this only has four but the top two petals sort of look like one, and frankly I think I am allowed a little artistic license!

It is cute, slightly less 'in your face' than many of the buttons I make, but it is the one I get most comments about!

More colourways will follow shortly. They may even have five petals.

As with all the flowers I make, the one in the photo is the original, often a prototype. You will receive one which is very similar. The button may differ but the colours will be the same. I endeavour to make each flower better than the one I made before!
