Whatakrakka Sandpit Dress size 4
A deliciously soft and warm pinafore for your wee lass to have winter adventures in.
The outter is made from a preloved vintage 100% wool blanket, the facings are made from a gorgeous upcycled vintage sheet, the doily is an opshop find and so are the buttons.
My darling three year old daughter is the inspiration behind these dresses. She is determined to wear a "gress" no matter what the weather is like or what she is up to. I kept it nice and plain so that it is able to be worn to our wonderful Steiner kindy.
A size 4 is to fit:
Chest: 58cm, waist:53cm, height 104cm
Due to the nature of a pinafore, they work well before and after these measurements.
I am trying to make more of these. Three kiddies is making it a bit of a challenge. If there is a size or a colour that you would love, please let me know. I am getting a rather large vintage linen collection, though vintage blankets are getting trickie to find.
Machine wash on a gentle wool cycle. Or handwash if you can be bothered :-)
