My design came about after buying a wheatbag for myself and thinking "I could do so much better than this!" I decided to make heatbags that were pretty, had a removable washable cover, and were sectioned so that the filling stayed in place. I use mostly recycled and vintage fabrics (washed of course), so not only are they practical but my heatbags are something you're not ashamed to own! They are filled with rice, which works just the same way as wheat. The bonus with rice - it's cheaper, therefore my heatbags are more affordable. The shape and size of my heatbags means they are great for across backs, around necks and across tummies. They are great for warming your bed too! I also put a few cloves in to make them smell sweet.

I have lots of lovely vintage fabrics and regularly go shopping to maintain my supplies and bring new patterns and colours in.

HOW TO BUY:

1. Select the fabric or fabrics you want your heatbag to be made from. Choose up to 2 fabrics.
2. Note the swatch letter(s) in the top right hand corner of the swatch.
3. Purchase the item as normal
4. When you write your email to me with your postal address, please include the letter or letters indicating the fabrics you want me to make your heatbag from.
5. If you don't mind which fabrics I use, just skip steps 1 and 2, and write "Surprise Me!" in your email.

Note: I highly recommend choosing the pink velvet (Swatch A) for one side of your heatbag - it matches with most of the fabrics I have and adds that little bit extra of cuddliness and warmth!

PRODUCT INFO:
- Each bag is approximately 12cm wide by 50cm long
- Inner bag is sewn into 6 sections.
- Filling: Rice, cloves
- Velcro closure
- Microwave to heat (cover can be left on or taken off, whichever you prefer).
- Washable cover (wash in a delicates bag or handwash and line dry. Iron with cool iron and pillowcase/teatowel over the top)
- All my fabrics are woven cotton, polyester, or a mix of both. The exception to this is swatch A which is cotton velvet.
