Handmade prayer beads from Catholic rosaries to cross-cultural meditation bead strands, along with personal jewellery inspired by faith - all made with care and joy right here in New Zealand.

This is a lovely rosary for a baby or young boy's Baptism. I've used 6mm round clear sapphire blue Czech glass beads together with 8mm rounds for the four Our Father beads in the circle, and faceted blue Czech crystal beads for the Our Fathers in the front chain. The beads are all individually linked into the rosary with gold art wire, making a rosary that will last for many years of prayer.

The traditional center medal shows a Guardian Angel watching over children on one side with the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the other. The crucifix is gold-plated pewter with white enamel inserts and a silver figure of Christ.

This length of this lovely rosary is 49cm measured from the center back to the end of the cross. The center is 1.8cm, and the crucifix is 2.75cm x 2.25cm.

The rosary comes in a handmade (by me) lined cotton pouch to keep it in and is attractively packaged ready for gift-giving.
