Description

These unique prayer and meditation beads are made with impression jasper rondelles and hand-cut bone bones and features an Ethiopian brass trade cross. Trade crosses and beads have a long history and were originally made by tribespeople to be used as a type of currency for trading with outsiders. Today they are still "currency" - made by hand in small village collectives.

The lovely jasper rondelles have a dark teal blue colour laced with sand coloured matrix lines. They are laid out in two groups of three separated with 6mm round bleached bone beads, and there is a larger carved bone bead in the middle (the pause or rest bead).

The overall length is 23cm, and the cross is about 2.5cm. They come in attractive packaging so you have a treat to open, or so they are all ready for gift giving (suitable for men or women).

A pamphlet about prayer beads is included that has some suggestions on how to use them.
