Description

This little bird perched on a moth orchid is an original painting by Melbourne based artist Vincente-Lucy Knight. Part of a new 2012 series of orchid and bird works on handmade paper.

Painted on 150gsm South Indian 100% recycled cotton paper, in Gouache and Ceylon tea stain. Finished with a light varnish coat for protection.

Paper is A5, Dimensions are roughly 148 × 210 mm to papers edge.

Painting has been left with the handmade papers original raw edge, and would look gorgeous float mounted inside a frame; alternatively it would also sit nicely behind a mat board window.

This painting will be posted in sturdy cardboard mailer, inside a cellophane sleeve and will be packed between additional sheets of rigid cardboard for protection.

Painting is sent by standard post from Australia.
