this one of a kind costume was created by me at Fashion School, in my costume design class...resplendent in shimmery velvet and paua, Arisone was one of the mytholigical greek mermaids, a daughter of Posiden...

This garment is made of mostly upcycled fabrics. The main dress is in velvet stretch fabric and fits my size 12-14 frame,but would also fit a size 10 (i am 166cm tall to help with length) . Lined with stretchy soft cotton it is comfortable to be worn for extended periods...

Upcycled delustred bottle green satin forms the cape at the back...a soft skein of wool imitates seaweed and is draped over green netting, with hand stitched strands of sequins adorning it...


Perfect for that dress up party or under the sea ball!
