Description

A hand embroidered Kowhai brooch (a tribute to the nativeNew Zealand tree) features shades of yellow, orange, mid-blue, green, and dark pink. This is a one of a kind piece - and totally unique.

Wool felt has been hand-stitched with each layer satin stitched to the next layer, the brooch features a brooch pin on the back. All elements of the brooch are stitched - I do not use any glue.

The brooch is light and flexible - it can be pinned to your lapel, on a hat, as a shawl pin, or on a bag.
