As far as fashion accessories go, carrying your dog in your handbag is so last season – hairdo dogs are where it’s at.

In ‘Poodle Parlour,’ a pair of snappy pooches guard their territory, the hairsprayed bouffant of a well-groomed waitress. Evoking the retro aesthetic of a 1950s diner with its mint green and candy pink palette, the original work was created using paint, pencil and wallpaper on mdf board.

And beware – you’d better tip her well, or you’ll find out whether their bark really is worse than their bite!

All my works are printed on acid-free, archival art paper using Epson Ultrachrome pigment inks - and of course the watermark you see onscreen does not appear on the print itself. Each print is individually hand-signed and numbered, and comes with its very own certificate of authenticity.

Your print will be unframed, packed flat in a cello sleeve and stiff cardboard mailer and sent via New Zealand Post which takes 1-3 days for delivery. I'll mail the package within 3 working days of your payment clearing.
