WELCOME TO NZs NEW SENSATION OF CARAMEL APPLES!
Remember the old bright red toffee apples we used to get at school and church galas when we were kids, bash them against our front teeth to crack them, then eat only the outer toffee and chuck away the rest? Well these aren't them!
These apples have a caramel coating instead of toffee, making it softer on your teeth and a delicious taste paired with the tart Granny Smith. They are popular in the United States, known as Candy Apples, sold in gourmet confectionery shops and made on a more simpler scale by kids at Halloween as a Autumn treat.
These apples are made by me for you at order - GREAT for:
- Kids parties, either as table placings or party favours
- Weddings as table placings or wedding favours (ask me about hand written Calligraphy name tags)
- Other special occasions, baby showers, garden parties...
- Birthday, Thank-You or any other occasional gift
- Christmas presents
- Office shouts / Corporate gifts
Apples are wrapped in cellophane bags with decorative ribbon. Orders are taken and discussed for flavours, numbers and delivery. If large numbers are required (>10) an agreement can be made for discount. Special occasions such as weddings can also be catered for in your colours.
FLAVOURS:
- Jaffa (not the Aucklander)
- Mini M&Ms
- All Blacks - PICTURED (no longer available - seasonal only)
- Cashew
- Pretzel - PICTURED
- Pink Fairy
- Coffee+Walnut

Apples will last approximately two weeks unopened in the fridge. Once opened, like any other apples should be consumed before it browns. Brushing with lemon juice and wrapping remainder in Gladwrap will slow natural browning process.
The easiest way to eat these delectable treats is slicing the apple up and eating the wedges. Eating off the stick is ambitious but not impossible... :)
** NB: Please note with the quoted postage, this is with NZ Post Courier (1-3 days), for up to 5kg (appx 12-15 apples, bubble-wrapped, NI or SI. If you are wanting a larger delivery, I will use a courier service, price on application. (an example, 25 apples to Auckland recently cost around $34). Of course, if you have a smaller order and your order can be fitted into a smaller courier bag (boxed with bubble wrap), then I will endeavour to save you $$$. I also may be able to save local (Horowhenua/ Manawatu) customers money by arranging a drop off point. :)
Please check out the other shop items for pictures of other flavours...
