Description

A simple slim little cotton skirt in handpainted biscuit tones.Almost a woodgrain effect,rustic and organic looking.
Front has more detail,the back is fairly plain.
To paint this fabric I stretch the material on a wooden frame and apply several layers of colour,allowing for drying between layers.After that its heatset to make the cloth washable.

The cloth is a slightly stiff when new.Wear and washing will soften it and weather the artwork to a nice stonewashed patina.

Invisable side zip.
Small vintage shell button with handstitched loop at waist.
Fully lined.(thats the moon part !)

Recommend handwashing for longest life of the skirt but will handle machine washing if youre happy for the aging process to be faster!
