Description
Title: Antlers in the Attic
Edition: Limited edition of 10
Medium: Giclée print
Paper size: 16 cm x 16 cm each (x 3)
Image size: approximately 14 cm in diameter each
A sultry redhead for the silly season, keeping one eye on you as you unwrap your lump of coal...
So I'm not a huge Christmas person (in fact the word 'grinch' may have been used on more than one occasion), but managed to create something red and brown and vaguely festive with a deer on it. The original painting was completed in 2010 for Gallery de Novo's Christmas show, and finally a year later I'm organised enough to have the prints ready!
This cute little set would make an excellent gift for those arty types who may be ambivalent about Christmas, but still secretly enjoy a thoughtful present and a bit of overindulgence on the day (ha, I think I'm my own target market).
Small enough to keep the framing costs down - or forego the framing altogether and peg them up on string like your Christmas cards - 'Antlers in the Attic' is an enigmatic triptych on a miniature scale, its rich burgundy hues reinforcing its intimate feel.
And I promise it won't play you bad electronic Christmas carols...

All my works are printed on acid-free, archival art paper using Epson Ultrachrome pigment inks - and of course the watermark you see onscreen does not appear on the print itself. Each print is individually hand-signed and numbered, and comes with its very own certificate of authenticity.
Your print will be unframed, packed flat in a cello sleeve and stiff cardboard mailer and sent via New Zealand Post which takes 1-3 days for delivery. I'll mail the package within 3 working days of your payment clearing.
If you'd like to purchase more than one print at a time, not only will you make me extra happy, but you won't pay any extra shipping costs - it's all free within New Zealand. Woop woop!
