Zippitydoodahs are quirky brooches and acessories made from unwanted,or vintage zippers that I have disassembled and made into quirky items. They have even been featured on C4 Cleospace and spotted on an episode of Shortland st! They appeal to a wide variety of people so make a great gift!
Each brooch is handmade, so no two are exactly the same.

Boysenberry Swirl Wonder flower Brooch is carefully stitched from vintage zippers.
This flower is made from vintage zips carefully hand sewn together ,the outer petals are made from dark boysenberry zips while the inner is made from lighter boysenberry cream zips. The reverse side is neatly finished with felt and a hand stitched brooch clasp attached.
Looks great on a coat, jacket, hat or even bag, a perfect flourishing finish to your favourite outfit.

You can also pin it to a velvet ribbon and tie it around your wrist for a glamorous corsage or even a neck choker. Or tie it as a headband or scarf tie.

I can also convert it from a brooch to a hair accessory by changing the brooch clasp to either a hairslide or a hair pin, please specify if you would like it as a hair accessory ( an extra charge of $1.50 to cover the cost of slide/pin applies, a charge of $3 for a silver colour headband)

I carefully wrap each zippitydoodah in acid free tissue paper before sending, and can gift wrap on request.
Postage is $2.50 NZ wide or $5.50 for overnight courier.
