Description

This bag is made from a vintage fabric printed with a bright and cheerful floral design in fuschia, off-white, olive green, avocado, forget-me-not, flamingo, mustard, duck-egg blue, lilac, and baby blue on a soft stone cotton. It is lined with a forest green brushed cotton, and has an internal pocket of the same fabric as the outside for mobile phones and keys. It buttons closed with a large, black leather vintage button.

The fabric used is a medium weight, formally an upholstery fabric so will be very sturdy, though still lovely and soft. The straps have been triple-sewn for extra durability and strength. It's a large bag, and can carry a fair amount of things, mine takes a book, a magazine, a couple of DVD's, make up wallet, a few bits of fruit, and there's still a little room left.

The bag is designed to either go over the shoulder or be carried (I'm 5'5" to give you an idea of strap length). It has been washed before sewing so can be thrown into the washing machine if it gets soiled. It is 32cm across at the top, and expands to 48cm across at the bottom. It is 39cm tall, and then add straps.
