Description

This is a little idea I have had for a while. I have free-hand embroidered an owl sitting on a branch with pretty flower buttons. The picture is a collage of vintage and new fabrics sewn onto a 100% NZ wool blanket. The back of the cushion has blue stripes and it is closed with big wooden flower painted buttons. I have other coloured owl cushions in pinks and orange themes as well. This is a long process with specially chosen fabrics and buttons arranged together and then sewn over to draw in the detail and fix in place. The third image is a photo of a different cushion but shows the cushion made up.
