Typewriter pendants - Any letter from A to Z, available now - complete with a silver coloured multichain that is 18 inches long. Wonderful looking and will really cause people to have a "double take" Please ask first just in case we have run out of your letter. At the moment we have all letters plus numbers, symbols etc, but sales are reasonably brisk and 60 year old typewriters that are suitable are hard to find! The actual key measures 14mm across, and the silver coloured multi-linked chain is 18 inches or 46cm long

The typewriter keys that we use come from typewriters that are at least 60 years old. these have been well used and the keys could show some wear and tear. The keys are cut of flat at the back and then a bail is glued on the reverse (glue is a two stage Araldite) We have to use glue rather than solder as some keys have card and or a clear acetate and heat would destroy them. Steam punk is the correct term for this type of Jewellery - it's based on the industrial revolution and is the latest craze. Me, I'm inclined to just call it upcycling!
