This necklace is lovely and light to wear, good for the environment (recycled fabric remnants!) and super cute. It is a very affordable way to add a bit of 'something different' to everyday outfits.

But the very best bit? It's baby-proof!
It's perfect for non-mums too, but those of you with littlies will know how hard it is to find jewellery that doesn't fall apart when wee hands are grabbin'. These are sewn together and then have a cover sewn over the join for extra sturdiness.

All of the fabric is folded and pressed to avoid fraying edges, and is prewashed in cold water to avoid any colour run if you should need to wash it (gently, by hand!). The seam is hand stitched, carefully.
This necklace features a cotton fabric, a satin and synthetic in shades of brown, gold and tan (with hints of pink and blue!). The plaits are 1 3/cm wide and the length of the braid is approx 70cms round. The rosettes are 6 and 7cm across and adorned with pretty coordinating buttons.
