Description

A lovely blue/green paua shell from Kaikoura, where the cool deep waters produce these vibrant opal like colours. I have cut this shell from a curved piece which gives it a nice deep dimension. Shaped and polished by hand, I find I don't need to use chemical lacquers as the shell remains shiney with a natural satin gloss. I have wrapped this one with copper wire and finshed it with a delicate koru design.
The koru is a traditional Maori symbol for new life & spiritual growth. It can bring inspiration for new ideas & new beginnings.
Copper is a pure earth metal that is known for it's healing abilities. It can bring energy and improve the circulation as well as easing stress. It has been naturally aged to a lovely antique petina.

Pendant measures 40mm long and 30mm wide. I have platted fine black polyester cord for the neck band, this is soft to wear and long lasting. Cord length is 40-44cm long including the copper extender chain & copper clasp. I can change the length for you at no extra charge.

I use NZ Parcel post which usually takes 2-3 days to arrive. Items are insured if you choose the tracked postage option for NZ, but not with standard post. Overseas parcels are insured and can take 2 weeks to arrive. I take care to package all items safely.
