Beautifully natural Kaikoura Paua shell. Sometimes called `Sea Opal'. I have shaped and hand polished this piece to bring out the natural shimmer & shine of this uniquely NZ shell. I collect these shells from Kaikoura it has a natural shell back and no resin or lacquers have been used so it's safe your body. and the envirnment. Wrapped with silver wire and finished into a fine koru design. This piece has a NZ feel for sure.

The koru is a traditional symbol of new life and spiritual growth. It brings inspiration with new projects and ideas.
The pendant measures 45mm long and 33mm accross and has a slight curve to it. I have platted fine black polyester cord to make the neck band. This is soft and durable to wear. Finished with a silver clasp and extender chain. Total length of 46mm or 50mm including the extender. Or I can make it any length to suit you.
I use NZ parcel post which usually takes 2-3 work days to arrive & insurance is included. Your necklace will arrive in a flax kete gift bag and I include a hand written card with the symbolism of the design.
