This little retro beauty is totally unique, and evolved from some sample cushion covers that were made for a private commission. As much as I would love to keep it I simply don't have room.

Carefully restored, the sturdy wooden frame has been revived in a racy fire-engine red with a hardy 2-pot paint finish (an industrial strength spray method that is used on heavy use surfaces, such as kitchen cabinets) while the cushions have been fully reupholstered with new lining and finished with a bespoke patchwork Union Jack, made from heavy denim, cotton, corduroy and velveteen fabrics.

The bottom springs are also neatly covered by durable lined quilted padding as you can see from the photographs and the rear springs have been covered using a lined vintage cotton 'Beefeater Gin' teatowel in keeping with the British theme.

This comfy chair is a standard size - 850mm from the top of the back to the floor, with the seat 420mm from the ground. The cushions are approximately 560mm x 440mm, and with this style of chair, the top cushion is attached, the bottom cushion not.

Would be a great talking point in any location!
