Carefully restored, this sturdy wooden storage chest has been revived in racy fire engine red with a hardy 2-pot paint finish (an industrial strength spray method that is used on heavy use surfaces, such as kitchen cabinets). The cushioned top has been fully reupholstered with new fill and lining and finished with a hardy oilcloth in a perky white and red spot and is sturdy enough for sitting on. Inside, the chest has been fully lined with heavy duty red and white spot cotton.

You’ll soon wonder how you ever did without this handy piece of furniture, whether for storing clothes or linen at the end of the bed; somewhere to stash your towels in the bathroom along with providing a handy seat; somewhere for the kids to keep their ‘precious things’ or for the modern day pirate somewhere to hide your loot.

Measuring 1180mm long, it is 400mm deep and 450mm high, with a hinged lid.
