Measuring 1 x 1 ¼ inches, I am a hand bound mini wearable journal for your thoughts. Open me up and you’ll find I begin & end with beautiful hand marbled paper sporting red, green & white hues. To follow, are 36 sheets (72 pages) of tea-stained, hand-torn Italian drawing paper to write your thoughts and dreams. Hand stitched with Irish linen thread, my pages are complimented by black & white head & tail bands. Bound in rustic reclaimed brown leather, I have a weathered cover flap and a matching leather double wrap around tie.
Along with a vintage skeleton key measuring a mere 1 inch long, I am coupled with an 18mm wide magnifying dome in a vintage brass lace setting, featuring a tiny resized antique envelope that was sent from Italy to Hokitika on November 30, 1886. The intricate handwriting and postmarks are a fine addition to my persona.
Hanging from a fine antique bronze mother-son link chain secured with a lobster clasp, my entire length of 14 inches long (28 doubled up) enables you to read me, write in me and admire me all at once.
