Description

Sketch at the time of the first Christchurch quake. This print is one of the first 5 in an edition of 25. It is printed in pigment ink by the artist on A3 (297 x 420 mm -- 11.69 x 16.54 in) Hahnemuhle Archival Paper. The image is about 300 mm wide. Signed & dated in pencil.

The quality of the print is astounding, pigment ink sits on the paper (unlike dye based ink) and has a full depth of colour (all black in this case!). The paper is thick and soft. Note that the image is printed with a wide border to allow for generous framing. The image is created by hand, digitally, and signed in pencil by the artist, so each print is an original, akin to a lithograph. Prints are shipped flat, not rolled.
