Not to be mistaken for the Pukeko, which has similar plumage, but none of the endearing Takahe qualities.
The Takahe is much like a basketball in shape and size.
Once you have meet a Takahe you will never forget it! They overwhelm you with their gentleness and the way they perceive you with their sage wise eyes . And you can’t help feeling extremely privileged to have meet such a creature.

This print is carved from a woodblock and printed onto quality acid-free A5 print paper and is packaged in cellophane with a support foam board.
