Description

This gorgeous belt is made from vintage silk kimonos, vintage (cotton) barkcloth and found pieces of vintage Japanese silk.


It features a central panel made from a piece of vintage barkcloth in beige, turquoise blue, rust and gold with floral patterning, the ties are made from a piece of white silk with fine pinstripes in blue and yellow.


The reverse panel of this belt is made from a piece of vintage kimono silk and features Japanese figures on a turquoise blue, red, yellow, lilac and gold background, the ties on this side are made from a piece of red and white tie dyed vintage silk.

The central panel of this belt has been interfaced to provide extra support.
