Description
Super chunky, mill-spun, slightly felted, single-ply yarn in shades of rose red made from 100% New Zealand wool.
It’s not what you would call a next-to-skin soft yarn, but it has a nice handle and woolly feel to it. I think it’s the perfect yarn for knitting a pair of slippers, crocheting a woolly mat, weaving a bag or a laptop sleeve. The knitting needles in the picture are 7mm.
One ginormous ball of 256g available.
I'm having a huge clear out of single balls/skeins. They're the last of the lot, and destined to become lovely accessories, like hats and gloves, scarves, coffee mug cozies, granny squares, and much more. Get free shipping if you buy 4 or more single balls/skeins.
Please keep in mind that the colours from most plant fibres, such as cotton, bamboo, hemp, rayon, etc. may bleed for a few washes, so for best results keep wet items separate at all times.
The "small" print:
My hand-dyed yarns are non-repeatable runs, which means once they’re gone, they’re gone for good. Please hand wash your yarn with care. Wool labeled “superwash” you can cold machine wash. I take great care to achieve beautiful results that are lightfast and colourfast, but sometimes there is a tiny amount of colour running out of the wool at first, so wash your item separately.
NOTE:
I take commissions.
Please contact me if you live outside of New Zealand.
I will combine postage when possible.
When choosing colours please keep in mind that not all monitors show colours the same.
If you’re not satisfied with your wool you can return it to me in original condition, i. e. with label attached and at your own cost in exchange for different wool or a refund.
I’m a great believer in avoiding waste, and in recycling. That’s why I use recycled packaging materials wherever possible.
If you’re happy with your wool, please let me know and don’t forget to place feedback.
