Description

This cuff is made from sterling silver, copper and brass. It has an interesting over-all design of koru, fern forms, and other leaf forms linked together for strength. The rim and fern shapes are made from copper and the koru are in sterling silver, with brass leaf at the edges. I like the colour effects that these metals make. Natural oxidation will make the metals darken over time, but I have given the cuff a coating of beeswax to delay this process and to protect your skin.

This cuff is shaped to fit snugly on your forearm for comfort. It looks delicate but the metals give it strength, and your arm will also protect it. Once in place it will just sit there so no fear of snagging or catching. It's a real statement piece and although I will make others no two designs are exactly the same.

The cuff measures 21.cm at the top (widest point) and is tapered, and is just under 8cm long. Because it has a gap on the underside your don't need to try to get it over your hand, it just slides over the narrow part of your arm. Fits most sizes too.
