This retro scandic-style beauty has been given the Grey St Studio treatment and is ready to add some zing to your décor!

Carefully restored, the sturdy wooden frame and footstool have been revived in clean, crisp white with a hardy 2-pot paint finish (an industrial strength spray method that is used on heavy use surfaces, such as kitchen cabinets) while the cushioned tops have been fully reupholstered with new fill and lining, and finished with a bespoke patchwork in heavy cottons and velveteen fabrics, including some delightful vintage floral (hence the name).

As you can see from the pictures the footstool cushion can be placed either with the patchwork showing or the simple green floral to match the spring-cover flap on the rear of the chair. The bottom springs are also neatly covered by durable lined quilted padding.

Perfect for everything from rainy-day reading to girly-gossiping on the phone while painting your nails, this quirky comfy chair is a standard size – 820mm high from floor to top of the back, with the seat 420mm from the ground and 550mm wide. The stool is 500mm square and 300mm high and without the cushion could be used as a handy table (although who doesn’t enjoy the luxury of having their feet up!)

Grey St Studio specialises in reviving and revitalising vintage finds including chairs, standard lamps, footstools and other pre-loved items.

I’m happy to arrange shipping - please contact me with your details for a quote, or indeed if you have any questions. You are also welcome to make arrangements to come and view the chair if you wish.
