Christian Prayer Beads / Anglican Rosary

Handmade in New Zealand by me, this set of Christian prayer beads come straight from my hands to yours.

These Christian prayer beads are also known as an Anglican rosary, and are made up of thirty-three beads representing the years of Christ's life, divided into four groups of seven called weeks. Between each week is a single bead called a cruciform bead. The 33rd bead is the invitatory bead that sits next to the cross, and is a place to begin and end the prayer time, with a cross completing the set.

This set features Czech crystal beads in a vivld teal blue color. I've used 8mm faceted rondelles for the groups of 7 prayer beads, and long faceted ovals for the cruciform and invitatory beads.

The rosary begins and ends with a gold-plated pewter cross with a Celtic knot design. This design of intertwined and overlapped knots with no end is a reminder of how greatly our spiritual and physical lives are connected each day.

Length: approx 11" (28cm) from center back to end of the cross.
Cross: 1.2" x 0.9" (3cm x 2.25cm)

These prayer beads come in a handmade (by me) lined cotton pouch to keep them in, along with a pamphlet explaining a bit about the layout of the beads and some suggestions on how to use them.

This Anglican rosary is made with care and joy here in New Zealand. It is suitable for men or women for personal use, as a thoughtful gift or addition to a collection.
