Soft, Chunky Blanket in Pink and White - Handwoven

This pastel watermelon pink colour with shots of white is from my new range of soft, chunky yarn blankets. It is handwoven on my loom with a white background warp thread which brings a crisp feel to the overall look. The blanket is hemmed so there is no fringe to get tangled. It was woven in two pieces and joined with a secure, decorative seam. They also feature a contrasting white stripe across the body of the blanket.

This blanket would be great on the sofa, outside around the BBQ or fire, as a lap blanket or as a baby blanket for cot, crib, pram, stroller or car.

The blankets are made from an easy care acrylic yarn that also has a touch of wool for warmth. It can be washed in machine on the gentle cycle and is best dried flat on a towel (or folded in half and draped over the top of a drying rack or clothes line). In my experience the drying process doesn't take too long at all.

By its very nature this is a unique, OOAK item that is perfect in its own hand woven way. I wove it myself on a rigid heddle loom in my smoke free, pet friendly home. I know that you will love it, as I have loved weaving it.
