These quirky brooches are made from vintage - retro or unwanted zips that I have collected, disassembled and reworked into a funky flower corsage. They have even been featured on C4 Cleospace and spotted on an episode of Shortland st! They appeal to a wide variety of people so make a great gift!
Each brooch is handmade, so no two are exactly the same.
Size approx 8cm across
Antique Roses are made from a previously unloved metal tooth zips carefully hand sewn together to make a beautiful twirled Rose. The inner heart is made from regular zips withthe oter petals made with metal teeth zips to add a jewel like sparkle to the edges,They have a safety pin on the reverse side so you can pin them to your favourite outfits/hat /bag/coat. You can also pin them onto a velvet ribbon and wear as a corsage on your wrist or a choker on your neck. they also look great tied around a scarf or in your hair.
They can also be converted to a hairclip or headband just ask.
Looks great on your favourite jacket or coat lapel,or use them to dress up a jumper,bag, or shirt.
