Catholic Rosary, Greenstone & Brass / Man or Woman's Rosary Beads

Here is a beautiful nephrite jade (greenstone) rosary for a Catholic, handmade here in New Zealand - from my hands to yours. The glossy green nephrite jade beads I have used go well with the antiqued brass medal and cross, giving the rosary the look of a treasure from ancient times.

In New Zealand, this deep green nephrite jade is called greenstone, and to give or receive it as a gift is extra special, showing the love and respect the people have for each other.

The Hail Marys are 8mm round, each individually linked with brass rosary wire. The Our Father beads are 10mm round, finished with little end caps and wire-wrapped for extra strength where needed. This rosary will last for many years of prayer.

The center medal is the well-known Miraculous Medal of Our Lady, which is paired with an ornate filigree crucifix. Both these pieces are good quality brass casting made in Italy and sealed to inhibit tarnishing..

Length from mid back to end of cross: 23.5" (60cm)
Length from mid back to center: 16.5" (42cm) - 33" (84cm) right round circle
Center medal: 1 " (2.5cm)
Crucifix: 2" (5cm)

This rosary has a lovely weight and smooth, cool feel in the hands. It is made for regular personal use by women or men, and would make a lovely gift for a special occasion. It comes in a handmade (by me) lined cotton pouch to keep it in, and will be gift-wrapped.
