Geometric art deco oak brooch

This art-deco inspired brooch is made from oak and laser cut acrylic. The silver paint captures the light and sparkles (more than can be captured in a photo).
It measures approximately 3.5cm wide x 5.3cm high x 1cm thick. The thick oak base gives it weight and stability. It is the perfect size for displaying on a jacket lapel.
The brooch is finished with a 100% natural beeswax and manuka oil polish, and sealed with a non-toxic varnish. It has a simple hook clasp on the back for secure attachment.
The brooch is designed and made by me in Wellington.
