Description

Lavandula angustifolia (otherwise known as English Lavender) is the sweeter more floral lavender essential oil. This is the lavender essential oil used by the cosmetic industry in face skin care products. It has a lower camphor than it's cousin lavendula intermedia 'grosso'. 100% pure and natural and grown near Masterton in New Zealand.

L. angustifolia variety 'Pacific Blue' is more expensive than the 'Grosso' essential oil as the plant is smaller and therefore does not give such a high yield.

I use 'Pacific Blue' lavender essential oil to scent my handcream which is available on this site.
