This cute'n'cosy baby poncho is made with a soft boucle blend of 80% Acrylic 20% Wool - perfect for those babies with sensitive skin. Made to my original design it is the only I have ever made in this style and hence is one of a kind - it also features both crochet and knitting. The main body of the poncho is crocheted in maroon, bottle green and orange and its fairly tight knit weave is particularly well suited for babies (ie. no big holes for baby to get tangled in or pull on). The roll-neck is knitted in a stretchy rib using 5 double ended knitting needles - a lengthy and tricky process! Poncho also has practically trimmed tassels in corresponding colours. Light, soft and warm - bound to keep your little one snug.
