Here we have a gorgeous capelet that I made out of a beautiful and soft, cream and pink checked preloved vintage wool blanket and a gorgeous floral vintage sheet. The cape is reversible so can we worn with the blanket on show or the gorgeous floral sheet on the outside.It is fastened with a plastic snap and has a removable brooch that can be put on either side or worn on something else. I have top stitched the seams for added strength and to make the seams sit nicely.
from the shoulder seam to the hem is 36 cam and across the widest point is 70cm. The neck measurement is 33cm. I have put that the sizing is approximately 2-5 but just check the measurements. These can be worn for years. So handy for popping on on chilly mornings to go to kindy, school or for a wee walk down the street. I love them as there isnt the arm bulk that jerseys create which means carseats don't need to be adjusted. The last photo shows the same size on a 1.5 year old and a 3.5 year old.
