Description

This little native New Zealand Fantail perched on a Kowhai branch is an original painting by Melbourne based Kiwi artist Vincente-Lucy Knight. Part of a new 2012 paired series of native New Zealand birds and plants on handmade paper.

Painted on 150gsm 100% recycled cotton Khadi paper, in Gouache and Ceylon tea stain. Finished with a gloss resin coat for protection. *Note : Paintings have been photographed pre resin finish.

Paper is A5, Dimensions are roughly 148 × 210 mm to papers edge
PLEASE NOTE : Painting has been left with the handmade papers original raw edge - Because this is a handmade paper, edges are not always even.
This however should be viewed as something that adds to the piece - It would look gorgeous float mounted inside a frame; alternatively it would also sit nicely behind a mat board window if you are after a more even look.

This painting will be posted in sturdy cardboard mailer, inside a cellophane sleeve and will be packed between additional sheets of rigid cardboard for protection.
