What is Felt?

Felt is a New Zealand-based online marketplace for handmade goods, designed to enable artists, designers and craftspeople to promote and sell their work in a supportive environment.

How does it work?

Items on Felt are listed by individual sellers. When an item is purchased, Felt sends out the details of the purchase to both the buyer and the seller by email. The buyer receives details of how to make payment and the seller receives the delivery address. When the buyer's payment clears, the seller despatches the item to delivery address supplied.

Anyone can sell their work on Felt. Fees and commission are deducted from the seller's prepaid account and the transaction takes place between the buyer and seller directly.
