Your account and fees
Does it cost anything to sign up on Felt?
No, it's free! Registering on Felt costs nothing, and there are no additional costs to shoppers, just the stated price of your purchase and shipping.
How much does it cost to get started as a seller?
Selling works on a prepaid system, which covers your listing fees and commission. Before selling on Felt you are required to load a minimum of $10 into your account. You can do this by bank deposit or credit card (via Paypal). Just click sell on the home page and follow the instructions.
How much does it cost to list my items for sale?
Each listing costs a flat fee of 50 cents, and lasts for four months. To list your item in extra categories costs an additional 30 cents per category. The listing fee is automatically deducted from your account when you submit your listing. Listing fees are non-refundable.
What happens when I sell something?
When your item sells, a 5% success fee is deducted automatically from your account. This means, for instance, if you sell an item for $20, $1 will be deducted from your account. If your item hasn't sold after four months, the listing will expire and you'll need to renew it.
If you sell more than one of the same item in a single transaction, you will also pay point of sale listing fees (50 cents per item) for the additional items.
What if my account runs out of money?
If your account becomes overdrawn, you will be required to add funds before you can list further items. Commission on sales will still be deducted from your account.
Further information relating to your account and fees is available in Felt's terms and conditions.
