Image formats

Images must be in .jpg or .png format and at least 420 pixels wide by 318 pixels high. We recommend an optimum size of 1260 pixels wide by 954 pixels high.

If you have the lastest version of Flash your images will be automatically resized when you upload them to Felt, so you don’t need to worry about making them the right size.

If you don't have the latest version of Flash, the images you upload must be no larger than 2.5 megapixels or 1600 by 1600 pixels.

Images are automatically cropped to fit the standard landscape image format of the listing template. The main listing photograph displays at 420 pixels wide by 318 pixels high. Users can click on the main listing image to view it at full size.

To avoid automatic cropping on portrait format images, if you have the means to crop your images before uploading them, your best option is to crop them to the same ratio as the main listing image, for example, 1260 pixels wide by 954 pixels high. Otherwise the most reliable option is to use landscape images.
