Can someone please tell me about the new Pin it button on felt.co.nz.
What if we don't want people to pin our images?

I'm not sure if the pin it button can be removed from your items, you could contact felt admin and ask, but if someone pins your items it means they love it and it will be a bit of promotion for you as it will link back to your shop

Apparently hugely popular with females in the 25-45 year old range...so the media says.

If you are pinned, you could get new customers from all over the world.

Use the pin it button for free advertising. I get HUGE traffic from it and it's the best advertising you can get to reach the whole world and the link comes back to your shop. Embrace it!

where can we find the pin it button ? its my first week here ..and if its free i think i have to try it

You can request to join up with pinterest here http://pinterest.com/ When you request to join through pinterest it can sometimes take a while if you want to join up quicker send me your email and I can invite you.

You can then pin straight from the items you like from felt and etsy. On felt the pin it button is on the right under the facebook and twitter icons.

thanks liz. but still confuse how to start ..just to explore about pinterest... i tried to Pin my felt flowers but then when i click "PIN THIS" it asked for "CREATE A NEW BOARD" should i create a new board?

Yes you can have all sorts of boards with different themes. I've got a board for my jewellery and a board for felt food, then i've got lots of other boards where i pin others items. Such as a felt board, etsy board then themes such as for the home, doctor who, birds etc.

From what i've read you can pin your own items but you should pin other items too not just promoting yourself.

When it asks you to create a board just name it, then next time you pin an item this board will show in the drop down menu. If you want to pin in a different board just create a new board
