It is a while now since I first listed stuff for sale on Felt and I have just now found this forum.
Thought I would let you know about my little Knitting/Crochet Group which meets at Muffin Break Chartwell, Hamilton on Mondays at 10am.
Our last get-together, for the year, will be Monday 12 Dec because some of the group have children who will be off school for the hols.
We will be starting again the first Monday after school goes back.
We have had a good group so far and will welcome all who want to join us, even if only occasionally if that is all you can manage.
I started the group to enthuse people to help me make slippers and bedsocks to send to Christchurch through the winter and succeeded in sending about 9 or 10 boxes of goodies to a Resthome where the staff were good enough to distribute the items to people who needed them.
It is not compulsory to knit for Charity, if you join our group.
I am fortunate enough to be retired so have plenty of time on my hands and would love to teach anyone who needs to learn to Knit or Crochet.
My experience goes back so far I think Adam was in the class when I was learning.
I enjoy looking about on this site and realise just how clever people are. There is such beautiful stuff being made in all types of Handcrafts, I love it all.
