Is anyone else having issues with their shipping charges not being included in the payment section? I made a sale yesterday and the order confirmation included the shipping but the Paypal section did not. I also purchased something for myself from another Felt store and noticed their shipping cost, also showing in the felt confirmation but not being transferred over to the Paypal section when making the payment. Tried to contact Paypal via email but they are not much help.

I was the culprit! haha

I have gone in and checked all my paypal shipping settings and it all seems fine. It has just happened again, it's getting frustrating and embarrassing for me having to explain to customers because it's not a straight forward easy transaction for them.

I think I'm going to have to ring paypal personally. I have gone through heaps of blogs and tutorials trying to solve the problem, but to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated!

Okay, so I've just been on the phone to America speaking to Antonio from Paypal... haha

He said that if you go to pay for something through paypal and if you are using it as a 'guest', then the shipping will not be added. If, however, you pay through your paypal account then the shipping will be added.

Argh that's really frustrating, because I really want to have that option for people, to use their debit/credit cards but also want it to be a smooth transaction.

I've had to ask people to pay the shipping separately to my bank account after they have paid via paypal.

Antonio said maybe I should make a note of it on my felt site....

Argh at Paypal that is so annoying - I'm sure that hasn't been the case before though?? I have had lots of customers in the past checking out as guests and they have been able to pay the shipping. Had 2 orders today and both weren't able to pay shipping charges.
