Re: Facebook Fan Pages

Hi

Does anyone know if there is a way to link your fan page to your personal page? so that if your friends are on your personal page they can click through to your fan page? can it be done? I can't figure it out! :?

Re: Facebook Fan Pages

Hi Rachel

I have put the url to my fan page in my contact information under website. I also then have that info displayed in the information box that sits at the side of your profile.

If anyone has a better way than that I'd like to know, as that way is still a little obscure.

Re: Facebook Fan Pages

Why is it on facebook that if I want to comment on someones photo or link or just comment it comes up as a personal comment from me rather than from my business fan page? Anyone know how to fix that?

I quite often do both, especially for sellers that I really like. I regularly use the links from other fanpages favourites to find the fan pages of other felt sellers too (more so before this thread was in existence, but I still use it to browse now and then).

Will get busy fanning all of you now. I love how everyone here seems so mutually supportive....what an awesome community!

Re: Facebook Fan Pages

Ack -- This is probably a silly question, but how do I become a fan through my Seedling page and not my personal page? Because I log in through my personal page, everything seems to go straight back to that. Help!

Re: Facebook Fan Pages

You can "add to my pages favourites" on any Facebook page by clicking on the link below the profile picture on any page... Hope that makes sense! That way it links it to your business page without having to personally become a fan.

Re: Facebook Fan Pages

Hello all, just want to update my Facebook URL:

http://www.facebook.com/seedlingclothing

I also want to say that I now understand the beauty of becoming a fan (liking) as opposed to simply adding pages to the "favorites" list. I've realized that with "liking", I get regular updates from all of the Felt community and it's wonderful and inspiring to see what everyone is up to. Additionally, it adds a great sense of mutual support. Yay, Felt! Yay, Facebook! Great to get to know all of you a bit better via these two virtual worlds.

Best, Jen

Not sure if I have already put my fan page link down but here it is again http://www.facebook.com/MyHandmade.

If you would like to put a link to your felt store, website or whatever else on my fan page, please become a fan of my site and post stuff about your craft. You can also set up your own album and add photos of your work on my fan page too. It isn't all about me - it is about us :D

Hey that's a great idea Bobbie - I like to do my weekly felt guide and monthly blog post featuring talented kiwi creators to share the love and my admiration of the amazing talent out there. But letting others post to your FB page is a great idea... will have to investigate further how this works!

Woah! I started this thread last August and it is still going! I'll have to take a browse and see what tips And tricks are being shared.

My facebook page has been very very quiet, as has my shop generally. However with winter coming it is time to crank back up........

Hi!

I'm reasonably new to the 'Felt World' - which I'm finding fantastic so far. I've recently created a Facebook page and would love for you all to become a fan of my page! Please feel free to post anything about your crafts on the page also. My (very long) link is:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cloud-Nin ... 169?ref=ts

I've also noticed that a few of you have 'felt favourites' or 'felt showcases' down the left hand side of their page. I'd really like to add this feature as well, but not sure how to go about it? If anyone could lend any advice that would be great.

Better get busy becoming fans of your sites!
