One thing to think about though, especially if you are on a site like ArtFire or Etsy (and these days you need to have more than one online shop, really) is to check the forums for threads where people fan each other and grow their numbers that way. It's So useful -people work their way through the pages adding Fans and tradign links. You get up to 101 in no time.

There is also a FaceBook Fans on Etsy group too.

I think it would be great to have all your pages etc match up. I think enough cannot be said for be consistent with our brands - as much as possible.

'Rethreads' is, unsurprisingly, a fairly common name. Where it is taken, like on Etsy, I have listed as 'rethreadsnz'. At times I think of changing the label to be 'rethreads nz' simply for the point of difference.'

Anyway - this idea of consistency was backed up at the branding talk at Crafty Business a couple of months ago, so I know I'm on the right track.

Oh, that's right I'd forgotten you could add people to your 'favourite pages' as well as become a fan .... go to the page and click the 'add to my pages favorites' under their logo top left .... that was just for the benefit of anyone like me who's right side of the brain sometimes fails to connect with the left!!

Oh dear ... just discovered that my facebook custom url (www.facebook.com/wildflowernz) was pointing to my personal page not my business! After spending ages trying to find ways to link my facebook page to my felt shop I was finally pointed in the right direction from Lucy to the forum! I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier!

I have just created a user name for my page http://www.facebook.com/mokidesignz hopefully it works! I am now going to spend some time becoming a fan of all of these pages!

What a great networking idea this thread is!
I only just got started on Felt, after it was recommended to me at the Crafternoon-Tea craft fair in Auckland last Saturday. My Facebook page has been going a little longer, but still looks very sad with just 19 fans, (over half of which are personal friends and family!!)
