Crafty Happenings is Felt's calendar of upcoming craft-related events in New Zealand.

If you are organising an event and would like it listed in Crafty Happenings on the Felt home page, please submit the details below. For recurring events, please submit a listing for each date.

Listings are free of charge and published at the discretion of Felt. Felt reserves the right to refuse a submission for any reason.

Artsy Craftsy AKL

10am–2pm at the Nathan Homestead, Hill Road, Manurewa. Large selection of craft stalls with an emphasis on unique handmade New Zealand arts and crafts. Admission free.

 

Alfriston Country Market AKL

9am–12pm at Alfriston Community Hall, 300 Mill Rd, Alfriston (beside Alfriston School). Handmade local arts, crafts, plants and delicious baking. Admission free.

 

Fabric-a-Brac Palmy PMR

9am–1pm at Crossroads Church Hall, cnr Church and Cook Sts. Lovers of fabric: find funky old fabric and a great vibe here. Tea, coffee and sweet treats too, all to raise money for Hospice. Admission free.

Haumoana Market Day HKB

10am–3pm at Memorial Park, Haumoana. A family event with a massive range of stalls and live entertainment. Benefiting Haumoana School. Admission free.

Galatea Market BOP

9am–1pm at Galatea Memorial Hall, 59a Mangamate Rd, Galatea. Live music, bouncy castle, quality handmade products, food, plants. Admission free.

 

Craft Out West Show AKL

10am–4pm at West Wave Recreation Centre, 20 Alderman Drive, Henderson. Annual show featuring a wide selection of New Zealand craftspeople, plus vintage treasures and craft supplies. Admission: $5 or $3, child free.

Fabric-a-Brac Age of Aquarius WEL

10am–2pm at The Dowse Art Museum, 45 Laing Road, Lower Hutt. A 60s and 70s Fabric-a-Brac to match the Dowse's "Age of Aquarius" exhibition. Beautiful fabric and sewing-related items, raising money for Hospice. Admission free.

 

Saturday 22 November

 

General Collective Christmas Market Day AKL

9am–3pm at The General Trading Co, 199a Main Highway, Ellerslie. A pop-up Christmas market bringing together talented crafters and a range of handcrafted goodies. Admission free.
