One pair of carefully cutout old sixpence coin stud earrings in the form of a female Huia bird.

They are cut out by hand using tiny sawblades and drill bits and a few furrowed brows...!
These are really beautiful earrings made by a Wellington jeweller.

The stalk that goes through the ear is sterling silver, with standard butterflies.
