Description

These whimsical little creatures are hand crafted from scraps of vintage fabric created in the production of free range baby clothing. I hate to part with even the tiniest piece of vintage fabric, so I patch the pieces together into squares and fold them to create perfect fabric cranes.

Each crane has carefully finished smooth edges, a hand stitched felt beak and vintage button eyes.

Every crane is unique.

Cranes sold individually or as a family ("family discounts" available, discuss rates with me).

Cranes are strung up using the highest quality New Zealand linen thread, topped off with a painted wooden bead.

Multiple cranes can be strung on one string, or left stringless if you wish.

Available in sizes:

Small - 11x15cm ($16)

Medium - 25x15 ($22)

Large - 30x22cm ($30)

(measurements are approximate and based on length of beak to tail tips x height of base to wing tip)

Every crane is unique and these little guys are flying out of my studio at a rapid rate. So this auction is for a custom crane, you pick the hues/patterns you are after. ie pinks, and yellows, blues and browns, florals, dots, checks etc
